Administrative Assistant
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with organizing and coordinating meetings, conferences, and special events
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Update and maintain databases, records, and filing systems
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
This position requires previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
