Position Description:
We're seeking an intermediate/senior Mechanical/Mechatronic System Engineer to join our team. You'll work on innovative solutions for medical robotics and haptics, improving existing systems, designing and testing new concepts, and developing automated systems for various applications. These systems will enhance surgical training efficiency in hospitals, medical schools, and training institutes.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design and improve mechatronic systems generating precise haptic sensations.

Develop test systems to validate product assemblies.

Provide design support for materials and processes selection.

Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to meet project deliverables.

Work with PCBs for various electronic devices and develop and debug embedded software for IHS haptic devices.

Integrate VR software with haptic systems.
Position Requirements:

Bachelor's or higher in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Knowledge of mechanical and electronic design principles.

Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), production drawings with GD&T, DFMA principles and techniques, simulation tools (MATLAB, PyBullet), lab equipment (Oscilloscope, multimeter, soldering equipment), Schematic Capture and PCB layout.

Experience in prototyping PCBs, testing and validating electronic circuits.

C/C++ programming and microcontrollers experience is a plus.
