Remedy Wellness Centre is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team, initially as a locum, with the possibility of staying on permanently. This is a full-time contract position, to cover a 1 year maternity leave for our fully booked physiotherapist in our Victoria, BC office.
We offer a very competitive 70/30 split in favor of the practitioner, as well as a profit share program and mentor program. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient’s needs
- Provide physical therapy and exercise instruction to patients, as well as assist patients in completing their treatment plans
- Develop, implement, and evaluate progress notes, as well as provide written documentation of patient progress as needed
- Collaborate with other health professionals, including our chiropractor, RMT's, acupuncturists, counsellors and naturopathic physician
- Be a team player by working with our other practitioners to provide high quality collaborative care
Experience/Requirements
- Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC
- Proof of valid professional liability insurance
- Strong foundation in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise would be an asset
- Experience working with ICBC patients (we don't do Worksafe)
- Caring, compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week
Salary: $77.00-$126.00 per hour
