Greenway Carriersis a trucking company based in Brampton running mainly dry vans to the Southern and Mid western states of the United States from Ontario and Quebec. We are looking for a Dispatcher that has experience as a planner.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, prepare and submit reports, and conduct performance reviews
- Communicate with drivers to keep everything on track
- Plan trips
- Dispatch drivers on planned trips
- Make changes as necessary to cover trucks and loads
- Communicate with customers for shipments late or problematic
- Must be able to communicate with drivers diligently and efficiently
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player
- Must possess great organizational skills
