We have the posting for you! Lifemark is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Occupational Rehabilitation and ASTD program. This is a full-time Physiotherapist position in our sunny View Royal clinic, just steps to the Gorge waterway and an easy commute from anywhere in the area. You will have an opportunity to work with a variety of clients from work-place injuries, to veterans, to someone who hurt themselves playing sports. We have a team that includes physicians, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists and registered massage therapists and lead our team in Victoria. Our team also includes clinicians that specialize in concussion, vestibular issues, chronic pain and pelvic floor therapy. We guarantee 30-minute 1:1 follow-ups with the clients so that you can provide high-value care. Victoria is a beautiful city that has the charms of a smaller metropolitan area, with an easy ferry to Vancouver if you want to enjoy some nightlife. The biggest draw to the city is the amount of greenspace and hikes that area available year-round, both within the city and a short drive away as well as the proximity to the ocean and lakes.
Responsibilities include:

Perform assessments and complete reports at intake, progress and discharge to determine clients’ appropriateness for the OR 2 program and return to work

Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning

Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations

Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations

Teach group education classes on topics such pain science, anatomy and stages of healing

Communicate with team members and WorkSafe BC regarding claim-related decisions and recommendations

The successful candidate will be:

A graduate of a recognized university Physiotherapy degree program
-
Registered with the Provincial College of Physiotherapists
-
Previous experience as a Physiotherapist treating musculoskeletal injuries / conditions considered an asset

Preferably experienced within a private clinic setting
