Orway Mineral Consultants, established in 1983, has a reputation for the delivery of high-quality studies and practical engineered solutions in the areas of comminution, beneficiation and hydrometallurgy. With a primary focus on grinding applications, OMC was instrumental in the wide acceptance of SAG milling in the Australian mining industry.
Over the years, a database compilation of project information and ore characterization testwork has captured OMC’s extensive project experience. This asset provides the basis for honing and developing the consultancy’s design and optimization processes.
OMC’s approach to comminution process design and optimization involves gaining a thorough understanding of the metallurgical characteristics of an ore body by undertaking detailed testwork on samples.
This knowledge, combined with specialized in-house techniques, state-of-the-art computer modelling, comprehensive database comparisons and extensive project experience provides the building blocks on which our services are based.
Our teams of highly qualified and experienced metallurgists and process engineers take pride in the close working relationship we develop with our valued clients. This relationship results in a comprehensive and mutual understanding of the processing outcomes desired by our clients.
