We are a family medical clinic in west Edmonton. We function as an appointment-based medical clinic looking to hire a casual/part-time medical office assistant to start as soon as possible.
All candidates applying should have the following skillset:
- Prompt, clear communication
- Friendly with clients and co-workers
- Ability to multi-task or take initiative
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Receptive to constructive feedback
- Strong computer skills
- Professional
Preference will be given to individuals with:
- Medical Office work experience
- Medical Office Assistant/Unit Clerk education
- Post-secondary diploma or degree
Responsibilities will include rooming patients, getting vitals (e.g. height, weight), cleaning, administrative work, and clinic maintenance.

Job Types: Part-time / Casual
Part-time hours: 8hrs per week
Salary: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
Schedule: 4 hour shift, Tuesday and Thursday, other shifts may also be available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30am-4:30pm.
- It would be ideal if the successful candidate is available 2 weeks full-time for training.
- Additional shifts, training and opportunities can be available to individuals that are interested and can commute to Southwest Edmonton.
