We are looking for dedicated and highly skilled Nurses (RN/RPN/LPN) to perform on-site flu vaccination clinics in New Brunswick. You will be responsible for performing flu shots for employees at their workplace locations. Full PPE will be provided for your safety and protection. Our flu bookings are spaced apart to ensure sufficient physical distancing, and we have mandatory and strict COVID-19 protocols in place.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the cold chain on flu vaccines
- Providing intramuscular injections
- Managing adverse events (anaphylaxis)
- Receiving, preparing, and packing their event supplies and documents
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Ensure flu consent forms and all paperwork are completed fully and accurately
- Provide these services on a mobile basis, with friendly and professional client service
- Communicate with our office daily as required, either by phone or email
- Follow strict COVID-19 safety protocols by using our company-supplied personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Current registration with the provincial licensing body in good standing
- Current CPR Certificate
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Knowledge and experience in specimen collections
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
