Synergy IT is looking for onsite techs around Montreal area on as required basis with one day notice for long term association like 5 years to begin with to serve their several local Clients onsite.
Job Duties
- Incidents / Break and Fix Services : Restoring the normal services operation of an end user service, includes the workstation (desktops, laptops or thin client), its associated peripherals (monitor, mouse, keyboard), desk phone and small printers.
- Installations, Moves, Additions, Changes and De-Install.
- Troubleshooting on hardware, operation system, connectivity related issues or software related issues that cannot be resolved remotely or that require the physical presence in the field.
- Configuration of smaller networks, Server Support, LAN/WANs, router/switches support, configuration of multi functions
Requirements
Minimum of two years technical experience required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A successful candidate must be detail oriented and able to effectively and accurately document various technical issues.
Skills/Qualifications:
Provide Technical support for client end users
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Windows operating systems,
Knowledge of MacOs/IOS and Android will be assert
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS etc.
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Server operating systems
Knowledge and experience with routers and firewalls,
Strong organizational and project management skills is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
