We are looking fora Full Time Transportation Support Worker for the Supervised Family Time Program at McMan in Medicine Hat.
Here is how you will contribute as a Transportation Support Worker:
ó Provide transportation throughout Alberta to facilitate family connections, medical appointments and other requests from Children’s Services for children, youth, and their families
ó Assist Visit Coaches with supervised visitation as per Children’s Services referrals
ó Build positive and collaborative relationships with children, youth, families, and other supports
ó Provide detailed documentation for Children’s Services

Required Qualifications:
o Diploma in human services or related field and a member in good standing with the applicable professional association. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
o Experience working with infants/toddlers/children, youth, and adults. Knowledge of developmental milestones is an asset. Must be comfortable holding and caring for infants and toddlers.
o Flexible schedule required as shifts may be a combination of day, evening, and occasional weekends.
o Excellent written, interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills.
o An essential function of the position is the and to carry a minimum of 44 pounds to allow for carrying children and car seats.
o Clear Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector and Child Intervention Check dated within the past six months.
o Driver’s Abstract with less than six (6) demerits, valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License, use of reliable vehicle and minimum $2M Third Party Liability insurance to carry passengers.
o Standard First Aid CPR Level C
