Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical conditions, including reviewing medical histories and conducting physical examinations (patients include ICBC cases, sports rehab, and private health and wellness)
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients to set achievable goals.
- Provide physiotherapy treatments such as therapeutic exercises to address clients’ specific needs.
- Educate clients on injury prevention techniques, therapeutic exercises, and self-management strategies to promote long-term health and well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals affiliated with Oasis Wellness to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in physiotherapy through ongoing professional development.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Valid license or registration to practice as a Physiotherapist from the College of Physical Therapists of BC
- Certificate of insurance evidencing coverage at $5MM professional liability, and $5MM general liability
- 1-2 years experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a wellness or rehabilitation setting
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions, as well as common sports injuries
- Proficiency in conducting thorough assessments and designing effective treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- IMS (Desirable)
