Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop structural design drawings.
- Create construction documents using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) design software.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of design documents.
- Organize and maintain project files, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
- Complete periodic site visits throughout the province to collect existing built information or verify compliance with design documents.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other design tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of structural systems, building codes, and construction methods.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with design team members, client and contractors.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
