We are seeking a Sr Advisor Technician Training program. In this position you will support the development, implementation, and administration of Power Operations Technician Training program.

What You Will Do:
Ensure that standardized practices, procedures, training delivery and competency assessment methodologies are used to maintain a proficient workforce.
Optimally drive quality, continuous improvement, and the advancement of our employees technical capabilities.
Manage the development and administration of the Technician Training Program systems and training processes (skills assessments, identifying curriculum requirements, job skills gap analysis and training delivery) that will ensure workforce proficiency.
Provide guidance and mentorship to staff on how technicians can be trained to complete work safely and efficiently under the program
Collaborate with Operations to assess and plan for delivery of long range training needs and training budgets
Perform operational and safety audits related to the Technician Training Program.
Who You Are:
7-10 years wind turbine maintenance experience in field Operations or Construction or equivalent combination of experience and education
4-6 years experience as a lead technician or experience providing training. College or equivalent education in a related field
Experience teaching in a professional setting (ex. technical College)
Proven experience within the renewable energy generation space including maintenance
Must have knowledge of relevant industry standards such as NFPA-70E, CSA Z462 and other relevant qualification programs
High-Voltage electrical systems experience preferred in the renewables sector.
Knowledge of Operating policies procedures & practices, emergency response, records and management systems, and operating processes.
Ability to travel up to 30% within north America
