John Ross & Sons Ltd. is a fourth generation, family owned, scrap metal recycler. The company is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and has been in operation for over 70 years. John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all scrap metals. We are currently looking for a Front Desk Cashier Clerk to join our team in Goodwood!
This location is not on a bus route, ideal candidate must have reliable transportation. Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm. Saturdays 8am-12noon as scheduled.
Key Duties/Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the essential functions of the Administration Clerk will include, but are not limited to:

Maintaining Purchases Spreadsheets

Cash Dispenser and Reconciliation

Assist all departments with administrative tasks as and when required

Keeping work area clean and organize
Knowledge/Experience:
-
2-4 years’ experience in a cash environment; able to multi task in a fast-past industrial environment with a positive and friendly manner

Experience with MS Office applications, Windows 10 and other software is a must
-
Highly organized with an ability to prioritize a changing work load

Attention to detail is a must

Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable will be considered an asset
