The Opportunity
As a valued member of our Protection and Controls Engineering Team at our Kenmount Road location, you will be responsible for: system studies including protection coordination, arc flash and surge protection studies; execution of field work involving the commissioning of devices; system fault investigation involving the study and interpretation of relay event files; and the creation , review and interpretation of engineering drawings and operational procedures including switching orders and protection plans.
Your qualifications include a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology. You must hold and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license. You have strong analytical and project management skills and are able to execute technical tasks with particular attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD is required. There is a residency requirement for this position, whereby your primary residence must be within 40 km of the St. John's, Kenmount Road office.
