KnowMediQ, an innovative digital health platform, is looking to expand its network of independent home care nurses and phlebotomists to meet the growing demand for its services. Primary Responsibilities:
Home Healthcare: As a home care nurse, you will be responsible for delivering personalized and comprehensive healthcare to KnowMediQ's clients. This may include administering medications, blood draws (through Dynacare) and ear wash.
Planning and Coordination: You will work closely with the KnowMediQ team to plan and coordinate home visits based on the clients' needs. You will also ensure that information regarding the care provided is effectively communicated.
Communication: You will directly interact with KnowMediQ's clients and provide clear information about home care, address their questions, and reassure them about their well-being. Empathetic and warm communication will be essential to build a trusting relationship with the patients.
Adherence to Professional Standards: As an independent nurse or phlebotomist, you will need to comply with healthcare guidelines and professional standards, following KnowMediQ's protocols and maintaining the confidentiality of medical information.
Flexibility and Availability: This position is on-call, so you will need to be flexible with your working hours, catering to the varying needs of clients. Occasional availability for emergencies or urgent requests will also be required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing and a valid license to practice as a nurse.
- Practical experience in nursing.
- Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the KnowMediQ team.
- Adherence to professional and ethical standards in healthcare.
- Bilingual French, English and other languages (ideal)
