We are currently looking to hire a Certified Dental Assistant to join our team 4-5 days a week! The successful candidate will be passionate about building strong patient relationships and providing exceptional care. What we are looking for:
Minimum of 1-year experience as a Certified Dental Assistant
Registered as a Certified Dental Assistant with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
Certified with The National Dental Assisting Examining Board (NDAEB)
Experience with Dental practice management software (Tracker is preferred)
Ortho experience is considered an asset
Proficient in adapting and responding to a variety of patients and their needs
Responsibilities:
Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation
Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols
Sterilization and disinfection of tools and equipment
Take impressions, pour lab casts, and other necessary lab work
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations including wearing all personal protective equipment
Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
Provide information and treatment plan options to patients
