Pivot Rx Pharmacy is a unique community pharmacy putting our patients at the center of our model. We work with our patients to create a personalized, streamlined care plan ensuring our patients get the most out of their medications and their pharmacy. Originally started in Vernon BC, we are now expanding to a second location in Kamloops.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a community pharmacy, wants to work in a rapidly growing pharmacy, and enjoys bringing their input to help us adapt to changes. We want our pharmacy technicians to thrive using their skills to maximize workflow and free pharmacist time for patient interactions.
We strive to provide a work space as well as the technological tools to allow our staff to provide effective and efficient care. The systems and tools currently in place (Vernon) include paperless work flow, cloud based fax, robotic prescription filling, access to multiple counseling/assessment rooms, and remote work abilities. In addition, we hope to create long term employee relationships as this benefits both the workflow in the pharmacy, as well as better continuity of care for our patients. In addition to a robust reimbursement package, we offer ownership opportunities for our staff in the company.
