Dental Assistant
Duties:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Preparing and maintaining dental materials and supplies
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient records
- Providing support to the front office staff as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in using dental software and technology
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols
- X-ray certification (if required by state regulations)
- CPR certification (if required by state regulations)
