NURSE PRACTITIONER

As a Travel Nurse Practitioner, you can work in diverse healthcare settings across various locations, positively impacting patients lives while experiencing new cultures and environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high-quality primary and specialized healthcare services to patients in various clinical settings.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans with healthcare teams.
- Prescribe medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and adjusting plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to healthcare protocols, guidelines, and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
- Collaborate with local healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings as required.
- Adapt quickly to different healthcare environments and demonstrate flexibility in providing care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in a Canadian Province or Territory.
- Masters or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability and willingness to travel to different locations for thirty (30) days or more.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing healthcare settings and patient populations.
- Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination as per provincial Immunization Policy.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Diploma/Degree in Nursing and registered in good standing with the governing body of your province. As a Registered Nurse, we require a minimum of two (2) years of recent Canadian full-time Emergency Department experience. You have demonstrated knowledge of patient- and family-centered care. Proficient clinical skills in assessment, physical examination, and nursing intervention. Ability to establish relationships based on mutual respect and trust. Ability to exercise independent judgment and recognize when consultation is needed. Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population. Must be able to travel domestically. CERTIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for some specialty areas Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination as per provincial Immunization Policy. Must be willing to undergo a background check.
