Position Responsibilities

Develop and implement the operational plan for the facility and programs.
-
Provide strategic and tactical leadership to programmatic and facility development.
-
Monitor program operations to ensure achievement of all program and financial outcomes and compliance with contract requirements.

Collect and analyze program related data to inform quality improvement.
-
Support the preparation of financial, narrative and evaluation reports for programs.
-
Anticipate, mitigate and manage all operational risks.
-
Ensure effective oversight of contracts and grants development and reporting functions.
-
Build upon current and emerging, mutually beneficial community agency, corporate, government, foundation and donor relationships.
-
Ensure compliance with all occupational health, safety, work alone, enterprise risk management practices, legal and regulatory requirements and YMCA policies and procedures.

Ensure facility management and maintenance in collaboration with General Manager and Assets and Capital Management Team.
What You’ll Need
-
Post secondary degree/diploma in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Recreation Management, Sociology or related field.
-
5+ years of experience in program management, including finance, administration, and supervision, coaching and performance management.
-
5+ years of experience in the non-profit or human services sector.
-
Experience in delivering services to Newcomers.
-
Experience in managing remote and multi-regional staff teams/programs.

Demonstrated skills and experience in strategic planning and leadership; finance, risk and human resource management; policy development; program development and implementation; process and outcome evaluation; fund development; and program/service promotion, marketing, communications and public relations.

Flexibility and availability for intra-and-inter provincial transportation.

Valid driver’s license, cleared driver’s abstract and access to a reliable vehicle.

Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector and child Intervention/Enhanced Security Check.
