We are seeking a dynamic and organized Engineering Lead Assistant to join our innovative team at AMS. As the Engineering Lead Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our Engineering Lead in managing projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering department. This role requires a high level of efficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Engineering Lead in planning, organizing, and executing engineering projects.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met.
- Collect, analyze, and present data to assist in decision-making processes.
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and meeting agendas.
- Conduct research and gather information to support engineering initiatives.
- Help manage project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and project plans.
- Support the Engineering Lead in maintaining project budgets and tracking expenses.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve project-related issues.
- Assist in conducting quality assurance checks to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in an engineering environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and terminology.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
