Looking for an HVAC/R Journeyman technician to join our team. The successful candidate must be adaptable to the different work environments and have a wide variety of skills not limited to HVAC/R.
What Skills & Qualifications You Must Have:
- Strong background in HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration service
- Electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of applicable HVAC/R codes, standards, and regulations.
- Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Basic plumbing skills preferred
- Commercial Food Equipment & Appliance experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to support and resolve customer concerns
- Able to work independently and follow company procedures
- Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Air Conditioning & Refrigeration ticket (Apprenticeship required)
- Class 5 license with acceptable abstract (required)
- Ozone Depletion Prevention certification
We expect our technicians to:
- Respond quickly and efficiently to service calls
- Assess and complete repairs accurately and timely
- Interact with our customers to ensure their concerns are handled in a professional and courteous manner
- Effectively complete work orders
- Complete paperwork for each job, including daily time, job status and duration
- Records parts, materials, labour and other cost data per job
- Support other technicians on preventative maintenance and service calls as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $32.00-$54.00 per hour
