Pharmacy Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy & Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinic
- Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial laws and regulations
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients - dispensary & clinic hours required
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapy management
- Monitor prescription filling processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in pharmaceutical knowledge and technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current NS pharmacist license in good standing
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
