Sky Dental in SW Edmonton is currently seeking a full-time highly skilled and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our dental office family. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental administration and customer service, with the ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the front desk, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and greeting patients
- Monitor patient flow and ensure all appointments are scheduled appropriately
- Verify insurance and collect payments from patients
- Manage patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Communicate with office managers and doctors to ensure the smooth operation of the office
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Have knowledge of and manage insurance claims
- Have high attention to detail
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in dental administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dental software programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Previous experience with Cleardent considered a major asset
