Deliver immunization programs; assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions; conduct disease screening, supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff; operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment; provide supportive counseling and life skills programming; provide nursing care; provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice, assist in surgery and other medical procedures; participate in community needs assessment and program development; monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, manage home care cases; engage in research activities related to nursing; collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care; dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician; deliver health education programs.
