Job Responsibilities:
- Providing safe, quality, and client-centred physiotherapy
- Performing clinical assessments and implementing treatment plans for clients
- Providing ongoing evaluation of client progress
- Administering and collecting outcome measurement information
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Communicating to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
- Engaging in continuous learning and skills development
- Promoting optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness
- Educating and planning maintenance and support programs to prevent re-occurrence, re-injury or functional decline
- Completing required administrative duties related to client files including maintaining record/notes of each client interaction
- Participating in community engagement events
Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized university Physiotherapy degree program
- Registered in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Experience is considered an asset, preferably within a private clinic setting
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR training
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e. substantial walking, standing, lifting, twisting and bending
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Good judgement and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work some evenings
- A professional customer service attitude
- Able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Must have clean Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
Daytime and Evening shifts required
Compensation
- Earn $100,000+/year based on performance
- Signing/Relocation bonus available
- Physiotherapy Residents considered
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
