As a Nurse Practitioner with One Medical, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced clinical care and promoting the health and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and best practices.
- Provide education to patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record system.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in healthcare and best clinical practices.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the province of Alberta
