The Palliser Primary Care Network, in collaboration with Big Brothers Big Sisters Medicine Hat, is looking for a temporary Behavioural Health Consultant to support children and youth in our community until March 31, 2024.
Working with other multidisciplinary team members, the Behavioural Health Consultant will identify problems rapidly, use appropriate assessment tools to assist with treatment, clinical consultation, case management, education and referral services for clients with mental health issues.
A minimum diploma in nursing, psychiatric nursing, social work, or other related professional is required as is a minimum of 3 years of recent and relevant clinical experience working with a multidisciplinary team in a mental health setting. Other experience may be considered.
