Enthusiastic and team centered Veterinary Assistants wanted.
We have a full time, permanent position that would entail greeting clients, booking appointments, counselling clients on medications, nutrition and other animal related information. We would also want you to work in our treatment and exam rooms with veterinarians performing patient restraint, lab work, exam room management, radiographs, cleaning and sterilizing instruments for surgery, preparing vaccinations for the veterinarians etc! The possibilities are endless! We utilize our veterinary assistants to their fullest capabilities and THEN train you to do more!
We are asking that you have completed the required schooling for Veterinary Assistant. This job requires a specific level of animal health and medical knowledge.
Hours would range from 35-40 hours a week within our hours of operation. The wage listed is for starting position only, a discussion can be made for people with past experience in the veterinary industry. Full time employees receive RRSP contribution, 5 weeks paid annual leave and amazing health benefits.
We ask that applicants have computer skills as we are paper light, have a reliable vehicle transportation to and from the clinic.
