The opportunity:
Canada Immigration Services is a leading Immigration firm in Canada. Our service portfolio includes various options for immigrants who are planning to visit, study, work and settle down in Canada.
This position focuses on assisting clients with their case management, analyzing their immigration circumstances, paperwork processing and keeping them informed on the status of their application.
What you will do:
As a member of the Toronto team, the Immigration Case Processor, under the directions of the Head of Case Management, will perform the following duties:

Information Collection:
-
Inform clients about requirements related to applying for temporary residence, permanent residence, LMIA or citizenship application requirements, case status and give information pertinent to service delivery.

Answer telephone inquiries pursuant to program procedures.
Case Management:-
Screen, assess and evaluate client needs and determine eligibility for immigration benefits and program services.

Collect documentation in line with document checklists prepared by CIE and/or IRCC/Service Canada/Provincial Immigration bodies.

Complete immigration forms for assigned cases based on client eligibility using required software and attaching all necessary documentation in proper order.

Conduct follow-up of case to obtain missing documentation, including employment and education documentation, to confirm receipt of notices from IRCC or Service Canada, to remind client of pending deadlines or to ascertain outcome of application.

Maintain accurate, complete and confidential case files, both electronic and hard copy.
Ancillary Activities:-
Translate documents (unofficial) in Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese.

Take photographs.

Make copies and assemble applications.

Client Management Excel Sheet Maintenance and Updates.

Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Excellent communication and research skills.

Detail oriented and the ability to work efficiently independently with little to no supervision.

Must have excellent skills in using e-mail, MS Office, PDF.

Adobe, and Skype.
